DAY :- 01 – Drive to Bhangeli
Bhangeli
A pickup can be arranged from Dehradun railway station to Bhangeli.
The drive is about 189 km and takes around 7-8 hours.
We’ll then trek for 1 km to reach the overnight campsite.
DAYS :- 02 – Bhageli to Rakoda
Rakoda
The trek from Bhangeli to Rikoda covers a distance of 6 km and takes approximately 4-5 hours.
The trail reaches an elevation of 10,500 feet.
DAYS :-03 – Rikoda to Dokrani Camp
The trek from Rikoda camp to Dokrani camp is about 5 km and takes around 4-5 hours.
The trail will lead us to an elevation of 12,052 feet.
DAYS :- 04 – Dokrani to Thalotya Camp
Thalotya Camp
The trek from Dokrani to Thalotya camp takes us through the beautiful Gidara Bugyal, which stands at an elevation of 12,645 feet.
The distance is around 9 km and it usually takes 6-7 hours to complete.
DAYS :- 05 – Thalotya camp to Tirya
The trek from Thalotya camp to Tirya via Gidara Summit is around 8 km and takes about 6-7 hours.
The summit stands at an impressive altitude of 13,898 feet.
DAYS :- 06 – Tirya Camp to Bhangeli
Bhangeli
The trek from Tirya camp to Bhangeli is approximately 7 km and usually takes about 5-6 hours to complete.
The final elevation at Bhangeli is around 7,652 feet.
DAYS :- 07 – Departure Day
After trekking from Bhangeli to Bhangeli Road head, you can take a taxi to Dehradun, which is about 189 km away.
The drive usually takes around 7-8 hours, so you should reach Dehradun by evening, around 6:30 pm.
