ABOUT :- The village and local resident of Khati is a best opportunity to understand and experience the rural sights of Kumaon. This trek takes you come across a dense forest of the outer Nanda Devi National Park contain of birch, rhododendron and fir. From the Sunderdunga the trail is isolated, from Khati until Dwali follows the Pindar river and where one on your left it is further forks goes to the Pindari Glacier and the other following the Kafni river on your right goes to the Kafni Glacier. It is situated in the Kumaon Himalayas in Uttarakhand and Kafni Glacier is the origin of Kafni river.
The route to Kafni Glacier snakes come across some steep uphill sections laid with stones and abolish into the thick wood till maneuvering to the gentle meadows. At Khati from Dhakuri trek gently climbs for the day, which is at 2,265 meters of an elevation. From Kafni leads the route downhill to Dwali and diverts to Wachum, which is 13 km approx. The route heads return to Loharkhet from Wachum and come across Dhakuri. The Pinder river is merges to Alaknanda river, which finally is one of the two headstreams of the Ganges.
Depending upon the route taken the glacier could be visited by both Kathgodam and Almora. Panoramic view of lush alpine meadows, Pindari Glacier with sprinkled wild flowers and kissing the sky of snow clad peaks, attach the trekkers when they walk on the meandering unpaved roads. It is very difficult to explain the beauty of this trek. You climb up to Dhakuri Pass from where you begin to get a magnificent view of Himalayan Peaks including Maiktoli and Nanda Khat from Loharkhet. This is a famous trekking destination but a relatively small glacier along with Pindari Glacier. Bageshwar becomes the popular starting point which after crossing several villages takes to Khatiya after which Kafani Glacier is situated.

DAY WISE ITINEARY .

DAY :- 01 KATHGODAM TO NAINITAL CHAK IN THE HOTEL .Our representatives will meet with you after Breakfast visited the sights along theway to NANITAL OVER NIGHT STAY IN NANITAL .

DAYS :- 02 Kathgodam – Bageshwar
An early morning drive to Bageshwar after arrival at Kathgodam. At the confluence of river Gomati, Saryu and the latent Bhagirathi, Bageshwar is located. Stay overnight at hotels.

DAYS :- 03 Bageshwar – Song – Loharkhet
Drive to Song after morning breakfast and way to Loharkhet from here. Stay overnight at hotel.

DAYS :- 04 Loharkhet – Khati
We will way to Khati in the morning. The biggest village is Khati enroute Pindari. Stay overnight in tents.

DAYS :- 05 Khati – Phurkia
Trek to Phurkia in the morning, where the trees provide trek to alpine shepherds and pastures can be seen guiding their large flock through uplands. Stay overnight in tents.

DAYS :- 06 Phurkia – Zero Point – Dwali
We will way up to Zero point in the morning. We can see the Zero Point of Pindari Glacier from Zero point. Stay overnight in tents.

DAYS :- 07 Dwali – Kafni – Dwali
Trek to Kafni Glacier after breakfast. It is left of the Nandakot and Pinder valley. We can see the main Himalayan ranges from Kafni Glacier.

DAYS :- 08 Dwali – Dhakuri
We will trek to Dhakuri in the morning. Dhakuri ridge provides a view of the snow clad Nandakot summit to the east of Maktoli to the west.

DAYS :- 09 Dhakuri – Song – Bageshwar
We will trek up to Song and then drive to Bageshwar in the morning.

DAYS :- 10 BAGESHWAR – KATHGODAM .AFTER BREAK FAST DRIVE TO KATHGODAM . HAD ONLY BREAKFAST ON THE 10 TH DAY
