Day 1: Kathmandu to Rasuwagadhi (1850m) – 122 km / 6–7 hrs
Begin your trans-Himalayan odyssey as you ride through winding roads of Tokha–Chhahare, navigating landslides and single-lane cliffs.
A thrilling warm-up through remote gorges and hills.
Accommodation: Basic Hotel

Day 2: Rasuwagadhi to Kerung (2900m) – 25 km / 1 hr
Cross the Nepal–China border at Rasuwa Gadhi.
Smooth roads begin on the Chinese side.
Explore charming Kerung town set above the Trishuli River.

Day 3: Acclimatization in Kerung
A calm day for rest and altitude adaptation.
Explore monasteries, viewpoints, and Tibetan village life.

Day 4: Kerung to Saga (4640m) – 232 km / 5–6 hrs
Ride over high passes like Ghungtang La (5236m).
Cross vast alpine valleys, nomad camps, and the great Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra) River.

Day 5: Saga to Lake Manasarovar (4600m) – 507 km / 7–8 hrs
One of the most scenic rides of your life!
Reach the sacred Lake Manasarovar, set below holy Mount Kailash 🏔️.
Desert plains, frozen lakes, and vast skies mark your day.

Day 6: Manasarovar to Darchen (4670m) – 40 km / 1 hr
A short ride through sacred landscapes.
Enjoy your first close-up of Mount Kailash’s South Face.
Join pilgrims preparing for the epic Kora.

Day 7: Trek to Dirapuk (5080m) – 13 km drive + 13 km trek / 6–7 hrs
Begin the Kailash Kora via Yam Dwar (Gate of the Gods).
Walk beside the mighty North Face of Kailash.
Dormitory style lodging awaits under starry skies.

Day 8: Trek to Zutrulphuk (4760m) via Drolma La Pass (5620m) – 20 km / 10–11 hrs
Most challenging and spiritual day.
Cross sacred Drolma La Pass and descend into a serene valley.
Night near meditation caves of Zutrulphuk Monastery.

Day 9: Complete Kora – Drive to Darchen – 4 hrs trek + 30 min drive
Visit Zutrulphuk Monastery, finish the kora journey.
Short drive back to Darchen for rest and celebration.

Day 10: Darchen to Saga – 547 km / 9–10 hrs
Final glimpse of Lake Manasarovar as you return through desolate beauty.
Cross plateaus and mountain passes back to Saga.

Day 11: Saga to Rongbuk Monastery / Everest Base Camp (5072m) – 360 km / 8–9 hrs
Ride to the foot of the world’s tallest peak – Mt. Everest (North Face).
Conquer passes like Pang La with sweeping Himalayan views.
Stay near the legendary Rongbuk Monastery.

Day 12: Visit EBC – Ride to Kerung – 370 km / 8–9 hrs
Sunrise over Everest – one of the most unforgettable moments!
Eco-bus ride to Base Camp for up-close photos.
Ride across Gawula La and return to greener altitudes in Kerung.

Day 13: Kerung to Kathmandu – 147 km / 8–9 hrs
Border crossing into Nepal.
Ride through scenic mid-hills back to Kathmandu.
